I wrote this after a random road trip with the Durlević family to the Gradac River and the Monastery Celije. It was a great day indeed…

I had the best day in Serbia yet, by far. We had a great breakfast at Milko’s and then left for the 1.5 hour drive. We went to the Gradac River and the Monastery Celije and then had a really fun dinner at a restaurant in town where some celebration was going on and they had a band playing folk music. It was just so much fun, but I am so exhausted because we walked about 12k steps on rough terrain. I’ll send some pics and videos here shortly..

Fun Fact 1: Marija (sometimes) smokes cigs and Milko does not smoke cigs. Her lighter didn’t work and she asked Milko to please ask the campers (who had a fire) to light her cigarette. He kind of rolled his eyes but then did it. I was dying because he said he wasn’t sure how to light it and had to ask the campers. If Milko is not the #1 husband for this then someone has to define the metrics.  🚬😀

Fun Fact 2: I learned at dinner that when Marija and Milko were married, had they known me back then, they would have invited me, and I would have been the 751st guest at their wedding. Soak that in. 750 guests. And it is customary to kiss each guest twice. 😘🥰💋💄
